FAQ-1646
Damaged Windows Scheduler
COMM ONE FAQ-1646
Damaged Windows Scheduled Task
Recently we have seen this error a few times in the Windows Task Scheduler of Windows 10 computers. We use Windows Scheduled Tasks to schedule the automated tasks for processing calls into our software, as well as sending automated reports. Having a damaged scheduled task prevents these tasks from executing properly at the scheduled time.
It looks like that with the few systems we have seen this error on that it was caused either by a Windows Automatic Update or by downgrading from Windows 10 back to Windows 7 operating system.
In both cases, we were able to resolve the error by deleting and recreating the scheduled task.
