SAMSUNG CALL ACCOUNTING WHITELIST

Some Samsung Telephone Systems have a whitelist feature on the Call Accounting Feature that requires that you put the IP Address of the call record capture computer into the Call Accounting Whitelist in the Samsung.  That feature only allows IP Capture from computers listed on the whitelist.

We don't see that with every Samsung Call Accounting that we install, but when that whitelist is active we are unable to capture call records until the PC IP Address is added to the whitelist.

 

STATIC OR RESERVED IP

If you have listed the capture PC Ip address in the Samsung, you want to make sure that the IP Address of the capture machine is STATIC or RESERVED so that the address doesn't change when you reboot the computer and cause the calls to stop capturing because the Samsung doesn't recognize the Capture PC IP Address.
