AVAYA PARTNER, MERLIN, MAGIX
Avaya Partner, Merlin and Magix phone systems connect to the computer over a serial cable.  To make that connection you need a couple of cables and adapters:

1. Standard Ethernet Cable to plug into SMDR port on Avaya

2. 355AF Adapter to plug into the Ethernet Cable

3. DB25 to DB9 Adapter to plug into the 355AF ADapter

4. Straight DB9 Cable to plug into the Serial port on your PC

5. If no serial port, then you will need a  USB Serial Adapter
