FAQ-1461: Export Allworx TSV Call Records

Allworx TSV is a "Tab Separated Variable" file format that is used to manually export call records out of an Allworx telephone system.  Regular streamed call records are in plain CSV (comma separated format), but manually exported logs are in TSV format (tab instead of a comma).

Allworx can also export call records in XML format, but Comm One does not support XML files from Allworx at this time.  We are adding XML support for other phone systems so please contact our Support Department if you need to use XML format.

HOW TO EXPORT TSV HISTORICAL CALL DATA

  1. Log into your Allworx Phone System.

  2. Select REPORTS from the left Menu

  3. Select CALL DETAILS from the REPORTS menu.

  4. Under the botton section Completed Calls select EXPORT TSV REPORT.  You can set the date range to specify what you want to export.

  5. Save the TSV file into the same directory as your regular call logs with a unique name

 

HOW TO EXPORT TSV HISTORICAL CALL DATA

To process the downloaded TSV file you need a call processing script that supports the TSV Format.  The regular Allworx call logs are in .CSV format and use a separate call processing script.  If you do not have a TSV Script but need one, please Contact Comm One Support for assistance.
