NEW 911 NOTIFICATION UTILITY
We are pleased to announce our new 911 notification utility.  This utility will send out emails to a distribution list whenever there is a 911 call made on your system. 

 

WHY 911 NOTIFICATION IS NECESSARY

When a 911 call is received by your local 911 operator, they are aware of your office location, but they don't know what building or room the call was made from.  If you are a school, an assisted living center, or if you have multiple buildings or floors, the first responders do not know where to go once they arrive at your address.  If the caller is still on the phone they can direct the first responders, but if they hang up the call you may be in a situation where you have to search every building and room to determine where the 911 call came from.  Our utility can resolve that problem.  

 

WHAT INFORMATION IS INCLUDED IN THE 911 NOTIFICATION

In addition to the extension number, date, and time, our 911 notification utility has additional fields to assist you knowing where a 911 call originates from.  Fields available the be included in the notification are:  

 

  • Date of 911 Call

  • # Dialed (Usually 911)

  • Time of the 911 Call

  • Call Duration

  • Building (User Defined)

  • Room (User Defined)

  • Name (User Defined)
