NUMLOGS Error Running Call Processing
This error is caused by an array error when there are too many log files in the log files folder. The maximum limit for files in the log_serial or log_ip folders is ~12,000 logs. Once you have more than that many logs in that folder you will be unable to process any of the new logs into the Call Accounting Software.
The solution is to move or archive the logs from the log file directory. Depending on how you are capturing your call records you will find your raw logs on one of these directories:
DEFAULT LOG CAPTURE DIRECTORIES
Comm One Serial Call Capture Utility
c:\ca20XX\log_serial
Advanced TCP/IP Data Logger
c:\ca20XX\log_ip
Advanced Serial Data Logger
c:\ca20XX\log_serial or log_ip
Asterisk Putty Log Capture
c:\ca20XX\log_asterisk
The log file date is usually embedded in the log file name so you should be able to identify the logs by date. Be sure to remove only the old logs that you have already processed into the Call Accounting. If you move or archive logs that have not been processed yet, then they won't ever get processed into the Call Accounting.
