COMM ONE AREA CODE FILE MAINTENANCE

     The Area Code File is used to maintain a master list of each of the Area Codes in the North American Numbering Plan.  When calls are processed by the Call Processing Module, this file is used to determine costing, mileage, as well as the state the call was made to.     Area Code Updates are included in your Annual Support Agreement.

HOW TO ACCESS THE AREA CODE FILE

1. Open the Call Accounting

2. Select the EDIT menu

3. Select AREA CODE FILE​
    

AREA CODE FILE FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

• Area Code - The area code

• State - The full state name

• Abbreviation - Two digit abbreviation for this site
